France: the idea of \u200b\u200breducing the amount of rubbish

Minister of State for Sustainable Development, Jean-Louis Borloo announced that in 2009 the tax is introduced, "Picnic" from disposable saucers to reduce waste production.

Borloo explained that the tax will be saved in next year's budget law and will cover only those products which are not recycled. Estimated amount of tax is 90 cents per kilogram of disposable cups and saucers.

Jean-Louis Borloo said that there is already a tax on that are very harmful to the environment: detergents, oils and pesticides. It is intended to tax the following products - disposable plates and cutlery - to finance recycling.

Borloo also recalled that in France each year is created up to 360 kg of waste per person and that is why it is so important to this amount of decrease.
