restoration of the original construction of the tower was restored light gray color of concrete. All the work was financed with municipal funds (about 370 thousand. Zł) - in accordance with the contract that the city has concluded with the leading association in the nearby old mine buildings, restaurant and service center.
In recent years, the association organized under the ancient tower house outdoor presentation under the banner of the Garden Theatre in Chorzów. The city wanted, however, that the area has become more accessible - so that now it has been thoroughly cleaned up, lit, and in the base of the tower mounted small architecture elements, including bench.
Chorzów government also invited to co-acting regional electricity company Vattenfall Distribution Poland. The company at its own expense installed on the tower lights developed by specialists, based in part on the LED. Illumination is to absorb a total of 3 kilowatts of power, as much as two electric kettles.
