In taking on these tasks, the President asked the Governor Chorzow Silesia in 2008, in accordance with the procedure for such withdrawal to the Governor by the President of the transfer of power had to authorize the City Council, which adopted a resolution in this case 30 October 2008 acquisition of powers by the President of Chorzow related to the fact that almost all the powers of the ancient architectural structures will carry the President, in behalf of Municipal Conservator. For the owners of historic buildings, this means that all issues arising from the Act on protection of monuments and the guardianship of monuments will be able to settle with the Municipal Conservator of Monuments. The exception is the case for the preservation of historic and archaeological greens, which remain the responsibility of the Provincial Conservator of Monuments, which is also relevant for the case of the object entered in the register of historic monuments of the province.
